A Girls Weekend in San Diego

A few weeks ago I went down to SD for a fun filled girls weekend. This is my third time visiting San Diego and everytime I've been it's a different experience. There are so many great things to do here and this is only a start of some of the great places to explore while there.

Balboa Park Balboa Park is filled with SOOO many things to do and I honestly wish I spent more time here. It's a gorgeous park filled with lots of museums, gorgeous gardens and even more beautiful architecture. One could actually spend at least half a day to a full day here exploring the gardens & museums.

Don’t miss the rose or cacti garden right next to each other. I let my cacti obsession drag me over to the cacti area.

Don’t miss the Botanical Building filled with all the luscious green plants across from a pond and fountain.

Most importantly, my favorite part of Balboa park was visiting the Spanish Village Art Center. I seriously thought I stepped into a Spanish Village it brought back so many memories of my visits to Spain as a kid. Its beautiful with the colorful tiles, flowers and unique artsy vibes. This village is filled with over 200 local artisans filled with so much passion and love for their work it was inspiring. From painters, jewelers to photographers all types of artists create the work and sell it here.

Hotel Del Coronado One of the most iconic parts of San Diego is Hotel Del so you have to make sure you stop by. Looking for a fun evening stop grab a drink at the bar on the terrace overlooking the water while you admire the amazing sunset over the ocean. Don't forget to check out the cute stores and beautiful interior of the hotel.
