San Francisco Restaurant week

San Francisco Restaurant week

One of my favorite times of the year is restaurant week and with over 100 top restaurants to choose from it can be very hard to choose! If I could I would go to all of the restaurants in San Francisco!! Each of the participating restaurants curates a special prix-fix menu for dinner or lunch just for restaurant week. Here is a breakdown of the two restaurants I got to enjoy!

Wayfare Tavern

Located in the Financial district of San Francisco conveniently near many other delicious restaurants. Wayfare Tavern serves authentic American dishes that are inspired by local cuisine. The food was delicious and the wine just as good. The regular menu has some amazing food like the mac and cheese!! However for restaurant week the starter was butter lettuce salad, fried chicken & a chocolate cream pie. The starter was so light and delicious but my favorite was the fried chicken some of the best I've ever had. Make sure if you go there someone at your table orders the fried chicken!! Seriously!! Anyway enjoy some pictures from my night!

Dobbs Ferry Restaurant

Located in Hayes Valley San Francisco this California Bistro merges the West coast cuisines with old school, small town New York nuances. Again thanks to restaurant week they had a few different options on the prix-fix menu to choose from. Starting with a lovely fresh butter lettuce salad, burrata as the second course and ending with an egg plant lasagna. Everything was amazing! Some of the people I went with orders other items that weren't on the prix-fix like the chicken with also come highly recommend. This is another restaurant that was well worth the visit! Go check it out!

[Dont mind the crappy iPhone X photos -- seriously anyone else notice that the iPhone X isn't great in dark lighting?? Anyway onto the more important.]
